A multi-layered experience designed to mirror the vibrant, rhythmic atmosphere of a Carnival season, a tradition that is shared and celebrated in the Pan-African diaspora, from the Caribbean and South America to the American South. The base is a rich, buttery ice cream base infused with the flavor of roasted, salt-dusted pecans. Aged dark rum adds warmth and complexity. Rum, a staple of Caribbean celebrations, was created in the 17th century by enslaved Africans on sugarcane plantations in the Caribbean. The centerpiece is a thick, hand-crafted jam made from caramelized, overripe plantains. We think this is our best flavor yet. A true masterpiece of Black resilience and creativity.
